For the first time in an illustrated guide shows and discussed in detail all the poisonous mushrooms Russia (over 150 species). Here you will find not only well-known deadly poisonous mushrooms that cause kidney damage, liver or nervous system or slaboyadovitye that can cause a gastrointestinal disorder, but no less well-known (but no less dangerous) allergenic fungi, fungi that cause destruction of cells blood and muscle, psychotropic (hallucinogenic) and many others.

Much attention is devoted to controversial topics: there are poisonous and bitter burning mlechniki russules; Do decoction morel necessary; Can cause poisoning lines, Greenfinch, Dubovik, umbrellas and other types of complex reputation; it's all the same to do with svinushki; what kind of mushrooms are dangerous when used with alcohol; what is the real threat of hallucinogenic mushrooms; the reasons for edible mushrooms can prove toxic properties; some edible mushrooms mistakenly believed to be poisonous - and a number of others.

For each poisonous or conditionally toxic fungus given a detailed description, collage composed so as to maximally facilitate fungal recognition in nature, are sibling species are described identified or suspected toxins, their effect on the body and the main approaches to treatment in cases of poisoning such fungus. In the publication mentioned just about 150 poisonous mushrooms.

The book deals with poisonous mushrooms not only the middle zone of the European part of the country, as is the case in most of the publications, and indeed the entire territory of the Russian Federation, including Siberia, the Far East and the Crimea, as in these areas there are species not always known for the central European part. The offered information is a critical analysis of the data, for many years I have collected from a variety of sources: domestic and foreign literature, the Internet, oral mushroom pickers and mycologists-colleagues, finally, personal observations and experiments.

The book described in detail fungi toxic substances, described their effect on the human body, given modern methods for the treatment of fungal poisonings and recommendations for avoiding the collection and use of poisonous mushrooms.

The book will be useful not only to the Russian mushroom, but mycologists and clinicians, toxicologists, as it contains the most up to date information, have not yet found reflection in the Russian media.
